Taking a Break
Praxis will be taking a holiday break in November and December. We plan to have our next salon this next January, as always, on the fourth Wednesday. We still have plenty of slots to fill next year and plenty of scheduling still to figure out, so we encourage all interested parties to submit their philosophical essays, artist portfolios, or joint proposals for Praxis 2012. Why are there so many typos in a discussion of...
The subject is personally dear to me as a painter who strives for meaningful beauty in daily practice, and endlessly fascinating to many, but the frequency of what I will hope are typos in J.Brown’s 8/22 entry makes it sadly ironic…sure, we could and should have both beauty and intellectual rigor in more of our art, but it takes a lot more attention to detail to make it happen… ...
